First off, no wanking, people. No wanking, no wanking, no frikking wanking. If you know, you know, so NO.
Anyway. This is, from left to right, England & America from Axis Powers Hetalia. So far all i've been able to draw of it have been silly sketches, so i wanted to try something more serious or so. I had wanted it to come out looking kind of badass, but when i started the color, i was kind of "meh" & listening to depressing songs, so i'm not sure what mood is coming across here now.
As for proportions, i know they're horrible. But it really got to the point where, no matter how many times i erased & redrew them, i never seemed to get it right at all, so i just finally decided to add the color. But i had no idea England looked so skinny until i scanned it. :\ So i know the proportions are horrific, so please take that into account when commenting, or i'll send a sheep from Estonia after you. : D
Also, since it's a lot of watercolor, the colors are still off, even with Photoshop tweaking. But i think they're fairly close, which is good.
1/13(?), 14, 15/08 mecha pencil, colored pencil, watercolor, charcoal, vine charcoal Majorly inspired by "FIRE!!" (Digimon Frontier opening, though i never watched Digimon after s2) & "Densetsu no Tsubasa" ("Legendary Wing," sung by Kageyama Hironobu, & i'm not sure if his name order is correct or not).
No idea what these guys are from, but hey! Only thing I see that's drastically off is the guy in the backs face. It's a tad stretched; his nose and lips should be more in line with the eyes and chin, if you get what I mean *explanation fail*. That said, you're good with watercolor!
And the dude in front is totally giving me the finger
(ps: "FIRE!" is an awesome song. I've never seen that season, but the opening theme is one of my favorites <3)
Sooo I looked up this series and AHH. The concept is so interesting! People as placeees. I love how their personalities and relationships kinda match the real life national equivalent.
Don't worry, the toned down colors only makes the poses more epic somehow I think. Like, badass even in the face of bleakness? Haha.

Hahah, that sounds pretty awesome. And maybe kind of fitting, taking WWII into account?
