Title? May be scrapped.

This was the reference. It surprised me how very like a Brian Froud painting she looked.

And didn't get a likeness; the expression is off... &c., &c. Will probably try drawing her again. :\

Heheh, thanks~. I think it's more contrast-y (on this screen, at any rate) than in real life. I had a frigging 8B pencil & it still wasn't going as dark as i wanted. Pfff. |D

Yes, the shading around the eye is VERY good. I like this one quite a lot, actually. I just kinda wish there was more of her. hehe

I'm also liking the hint of green colour in the foliage.

Wow that's really nice. The shading around her eye is beautiful, and you got the contours of her nose just right.

Her lips look really beautiful, too. I'd love to see more pencilwork from you, because this is gorgeous. : D
