People are dying to try and win their freedom. They are going against an oppressive government, are standing up to say, "We won't take this anymore," & they are dying for it.

A girl who wasn't even protesting was shot & killed instantly by Basiji. She wasn't even protesting; she was just watching with her father.

The hospitals aren't safe anymore. Embassies are taking in the wounded: British, German, Dutch, Finnish, etc.

I haven't slept at all.

This is much, much bigger than the election now. This is a revolution; ignore whatever CNN is spouting.

People are dying for freedom & democracy. How can you not care?

I dont understand either, there is something really crazy happening right now and I dont know anyone who cares/is looking into it. Im on the edge of my seat about the situation, I have a few friends who used to live in Iran (now live here in England), and as far as I know this is what people have been wanting to do for a long time, they just have now been pushed over the edge. I hope peace will find its way there soon :(

Yeah... The election BS must've been the catalyst, but it's gone way past just being about that now.

So do i... I really hope these people win their freedom, after everything they've been through. I wish more people knew about it.

I hope any family of your friends who might still be in Iran are all okay..
